One of our favorite things about Christmas in our youth was watching Pee Wee's Christmas Special. Ok, we maybe watched it during the other times of the year too. Given that Pee Wee is having a Renaissance (we are dying to see him on Broadway), we thought it would be a good time to share this amazing bit of pop culture with our dear readers. If you have half an hour to spare, we recommend making some eggnog, putting your feet up, and enjoying a little Holiday Cheer.

The lesson we've taken from Pee Wee - is to re-use and recycle! Pee Wee receives so many fruitcakes during the show that he turns them into a Fruit Cake Palace inside his playhouse. Brilliant! We are baking away trying to get all the fruitcakes ready - and we will need a few beefcakes to lay the bricks. Volunteers?
