Let's Bring Back: The Cocktail Edition - Giveaway - CLOSED

We are thrilled to share with you one of our favorite cocktail books, written by our dear friend, Lesley M.M. Blume.  Part of the Let's Bring Back series, The Cocktail Edition is a wonderful book that is both entertaining and useful behind the bar.  Filled with amusing recipes that have gone lost over the years, Ms. Blume brings them back triumphantly, with hilarious anecdotes, whimsical illustrations, and crafty applications for modern life.

A few favorites (in animal theme):

  1. (and i'm still dreaming about it) The Lavender Tea Nail: A Drambuie cocktail from the 2012 Manhattan Cocktail

  2. My favorite is definitely a classic, tried and true! Bombay Sapphire martini, very dry , just a tad dirty, shaken, with a bleu cheese-stuffed olive as garnish. Crisp, clean, and neat. Heavenly!

  3. My favorite cocktail from days gone by are Manhattan's!

  4. I'm obsessed with the Ramos gin fizz as of late. I make a modern take on it using Hendricks gin and rosewater in place of orange blossom, and it really is to die for.

  5. I'd love to experience a good Pimm's Cup. Maybe because it sounds so cool...

  6. I cannot go past a precisely made Corpse Revivor #2.

  7. The Aviation - I can't resist the violet hue!

  8. death in the afternoon. If it was good enough for Hemmingway, it is good enough for me.

  9. The Boulevardier, what a perfect marriage of the manhattan and the negroni....
